His tombstone in the Magnolia, IA cemetery lists his death date as 17 Oct 1876. Also buried there are his 2nd wife, Julia, and sons Newton & Silas Lawrence. My husband is the g grandson of his other son, Henry Munroe Lawrence, who appears in Magnolia, IA in the 1870 & 1880 censuses. Am not sure where Henry went from there. His son, William Henry Lawrence was born in Magnolia, IA, was in Sabetha, Kansas in 1910, and moved to Pomona, CA (where he died) before 1920. Am gratefully looking forward to any information you can furnish about this line.
