He was born in Guilford Co., NC ca 1772 and died in Washington Co., AR (near Fayetteville) in 1852. His wife's name is listed on documents as Susannah in 1805 in Warren Co., KY. He moved from there to SW Illinois - Williamson/Union Co. He was in old Miller Co., AR Terr. by 1818 and Washington Co. by 1828. One of his grandson's middle name was Ball, I believe.
