Hi Folks, Greetings from Toronto, Canada. Richard LAWRENCE was baptized in Hilmarton, Wilts, in 1803, the eldest son of William LAWRENCE, yeoman of Hilmarton, and Ann, his wife. In 1828, he married Martha CHURCH in Bishopstone, northern Wilts. Richard was a farmer in Bitterton, in the parish of Ardington, Berks, till after 1841. Between 1841 and 1848, they moved to farm in Upper Farm in Farnborough, where they were enumerated in the 1851 and 1861 censuses. Richard and Martha had issue: 1. William LAWRENCE, born in Bitterton, bp in Ardington in 1829; 2. Mary LAWRENCE, bp in Ardington in 1831; 3. George Richard LAWRENCE, bp in Ardington in 1837; 4. Susan LAWRENCE, bp in Ardington in 1839; 5. Robert Church LAWRENCE, bp in Ardington in 1841; 6. Martha LAWRENCE, born in Farnborough about 1848. I wish to contact any researcher or relation of this family and to exchange family history notes. Best wishes. Peter Ferreira.
