Surnames: Lawrence/Putman Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/mbexec/msg/5538/DAw.2ACIB/2255.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I came across this by chance,my husbands Lawrence family were from Bermondsey,before that Greenwich,my husbands father Henry edward Lawrence born 1902 was one of a large family,but have never traced any of them,(he was brought up in an orphanage from rthe age of five) except Edith who died in the 1980,s all the family were musical,my husband and his brother were muscians,his dad played the piano by ear,around the pubs in the east end,I know some of the family names,John,Bill,Ginny but thats all we know,dose anyone know of the family.
