William Lawrence was born in Alabama in about 1847. John W. (Walter) Lawrence was born in Alabama in about 1877. They both lived in Arkansas = in the late 1800"s. John W. followed his son (my father, Roy) to Oklahoma = in the 1920's or 30's. He died in Perkins, Ok in 1942.
