I have Lawrences that were in Spartanburg, SC and went into Georgia. My Grandmother was a Lawrence and was born in Elberton, Ga. 1900. I traced her line to spartanburg and to a Joseph Lawrence. It is thought that His father was James Lawrence but no proof. Would like to discuss with Jhollers.cox.net
