John W. (Walter) Lawrence was born in Alabama in about 1877. They both lived in Arkansas in the late 1800"s. John W. followed his son (my father, Roy) to Oklahoma in the 1920's or 30's. He died in Perkins, Ok in 1942. William died in Arkansas in Independence County, and is buried there at Convenience Cemetery.
