Hi List, I just got my Lawrence Family posted on The Fayette C o Al website. Please look and see if you have any info to add. My line starts as early as 1802. Thanks Betsy http://www.rootsweb.com/~alfayett/Families/LAWRENCE_Alex.html
Do any of your Lawrence have any connections to the following counties in GA: Early, Calhoun, Randolph. I am looking for a Peter Lawrence who originated in Sumter, SC and came to Early Co GA abt. 1840. His 1st wife was Exianne Mills and they were the parents of my GR Grandmother: Florance Lawrance Bass. Exianne died after having 6/7 children and Peter remarried a "Mary". Some of them may have moved on into Alabama. Does any of this sound familiar?
