My GG-Grandfather (MFFF) was Thomas Lawrence (b.about 1775). Three adult sons and a daughter of whom nothing much is known: Stephen (1805, Norwich, emigrated to Australia, but had two sons and a daughter); Morris (1815, Chatham; d. Plymouth 1863, in a fireworks accident, leaving a numerous family many of whom had distinguished careers in showbiz); and Thomas (G-grandfather, b. London 1821, d. Glasgow 1896). He had a travelling theatre and both wives were actors/performers. Two sons from marriage 1: Harry Augustus (Bethnal Green, 1839) and Thomas G. (Walsall, 1852). Two sons and five daughters from marriage 2, many theatrical. My grand-father, Clement (Bilston, 1867) was a musician.
