Other obits in Bible, all from same county, were a Hamman, a Moon, and a Hire. Those obits posted under those surname message boards today. Clara Lawrence, was born at Silver Lake, Ind, Apr 27, 1872, being the youngest of a family of eight children that blessed the union of John Lawrence and Lucinda Leffel. She was married to Ote Hire Sept 26, 1891, with whom she lived in happy union until God called her home. She was converted and united with the M E Church at Silver Lake at the age of 16 and has lived in the fear of the Lord and a life unspotted from the world, "one of whom none ever spoke ill, and in which there was no fault." None knew her but to love her. None saw her but to praise. Surely her merits will still live in this world while she has gone to the home beyond, where "They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, for the Lord which is in the midst of the throne shall lead to living fountains of water and God shall wipe away all tears." She died Sept 17,1892, aged 20 years, 4 months, and 20 days. She leaves a kind husband, and a father, three brothers and two sisters to mourn her loss to them, but their loss is her gain. The funeral services were conducted by the writer in the Christian church at Palestine. A large congragation of sympathsing friends gathered to pay the last tribute of respect to one so early called to rest. Can the bonds that make us here Know ourselves immortal Drop away like foliage sear, At life's inner portal? What is holiest below Must forever grow. He who on our earthly path Bids us help each other - Who his well beloved hath Made our elder brother - Will but clasp the claim of love Clearer, when we meet above J. M. Baker.

My GGGGGrandfather is William Lawrence. He was baptised in Isleworth Middlesex in 1780, his parents being named as William and Ann. They may have been married in New Brentford (Hanwell parish) Middlesex in 1778, although I've no proof as yet. Apart from his baptism there are no other children listed in Isleworth records and no deaths of either William or Ann. However their son William marries nearby in 1806 and is living in Isleworth in 1813. Did the family move to Coggeshall in the meantime?

We would like to give the letters to a historical society, but are trying to research some information first. Thank you

We found these gravesites in the Stokes Cemetery in the city limits of Greensboro, Alabama. On Tuscaloosa Street, which is really the part of Alabama Highway 69 going through the town of Greensboro, Alabama, turn onto the dirt road that goes right by the house located at 1610 Tuscaloosa Street. Hello to all Lawrence listers: I have joined you all in hopes to locate a family member to the LAWRENCE Family of Lemons, MO. I have found a newspaper clipping of Mr. & Mrs. Edward LAWRENCE'S 62nd wedding anniversary. The date year is unknown to me, but I'm guessing that it was some where in the 1930's . The month of their wedding was January 1st. In the photo are Mr. & Mrs. Edward LAWRENCE and their 12 children. John, the oldest at 61, William, Alfred, Elmer, Charles, Sherman, Frank, the youngest at 37, Clarence, Oscar, Fred, Mrs. Annie Young, Mrs. Hattie Childers. Mr. Edward LAWRENCE is 89 and his wife is 80. ( Does not give her name.) The article is from the CAPPER'S WEEKLY paper. If anyone out there is part of this family, PLEASE let me know and I will mail the article to you! Pat Jones Smith St. Louis, Missouri, USA
Hi List, Greetings from Toronto, Canada. John Turner HUXHAM (c1865 - 1931) was born in Bickleigh, Devon, England. In 1895, in the church of St. Michael, Wilsford, Wilts, he married Amy Chisman LAWRENCE. They lived in Amesbury, Wilts, and in Romford, Essex. In the 1901 census, John was a District Surveyor, in Amesbury, Wilts. John and Amy had issue, probably all born in Amesbury, Wilts: 1. Winifred Bessie HUXHAM (1896 - 1979); no issue; 2. John Lawrence HUXHAM (1899 - 19??); 3. Dorothy May HUXHAM (1901 - 19??); she married Jack RAE and they had issue; 4. Ada Mary (Molly) HUXHAM (1903 - 19??); no issue; 5. Margaret Amy Turner HUXHAM (1905 - 19??); she married Maurice DISNEY and they had issue; 6. George HUXHAM (1910 - 19??); he married Leila BEDFORD and they had issue. I have oodles and oodles of Lawrence ancestral and lateral material on this family; nothing on the Huxhams. I would like to contact and exchange family tree notes with any relation or researcher of this family. Best wishes. Peter Ferreira.

Hi, My husband's Grandmother was born Rosa B. Lawrence, Sullivan, Franklin Co., MO. Her father was William H. Lawrence, b. IL; son of David B. Lawrence, b. TN. They go back to Edward Lawrence of Fauquier Co., VA, and his father was from Northumberland Co., VA. Most of his family were either Quakers or Methodists. Larry was named after his maternal great grandmother, "Lawrence". He is handicapped now so don't know if he could be a donor. What would be involved? Sincerely, Florence
