I am searching for Information on Augusta Pauline Lawrence's ancestry. She was born 6/27/1869 and died March 26, 1945 in Siren, WI. Her father may have been Julius Lawrence born abt. 1848 in Prussia and mother an unknown Emma. She married Albert Hoefs 1891 in Milwaukee, WI. Any info certainly appreciated. Thanks Dayle Noble Biba
I have a Charles Orland Lawrence (born 1897), son of John Hiram Lawrence (born 1872), son of Thomas Newton Lawrence (1826-1907) of Pope County Illinois. Thomas Newton was an older brother to Lemuel Lawrence (1838-1906) of Johnson County Illinois. Probably not your family, but a shot in the dark. Don't know what happened to John Hiram or Charles Orland, I suppose it's possible they could have ended up in Sheboygan. ----- Original Message ----- From: sparky.bill@comcast.net<mailto:sparky.bill@comcast.net> To: LAWRENCE-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:LAWRENCE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 29, 2006 8:10 AM Subject: [LAWRENCE] Re: LAWRENCE, Lemuel and wife, Lydia, Sheboygan, WI This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. None of the names mean anything to me, but the musicality is striking. If there is a connection, I would guess that Henry Edward might have been son or more likely grandson of Harry Augustus L, my gg-grandfather's son by his first marriage. Would you like to email me direct at metna@enterprise.net. Martin

I'm doing research on the Edward Lawrence family of Brookline. Edward's was the son of Annie W & Edward Lawrence and born 1877. He died 1957 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He married Frances Gaither. I do not have a date on the marriage. I would like to find that. She was born in 1890 and died in 1935 in Brookline. They are both buried at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Mass. They had a son, Robert. I don't know if they had any other children. I would be interested in sharing information with anyone else researching this family. Robert was in Pennsylvania when his father died. In the 1920 census, Edward is listed as married. He is living with his mother, Annie & sister, Mary in Brookline. But Frances is not listed. I don't know what the story is there. I have not been able to find them in the 1930 census yet. Thanks for any help! Sandra
