I tracked a Solomon Lawrence through the census to Springwater in Livingston County, NY. Solomon's first wife was Sophronia. Third child of Solomon and Sophronia was born in Michigan and fourth child in Illinois. (Sophronia died sometime between 1845 and 1852 and Solomon remarried Clarissa Bostwick.) Can anyone tell me of a Lawrence line living in this area of NY, in this time period?

Dear Daniel Thank you for replying and for 'keeping an eye ' out for Joseph Lawrence in the hope of finding his wife's name. I have no idea of where to look as there was no marriage record in Athol, Mass where children were born- or at least registered. When I wrote letters before, they said they would need to have the 'township' or at least the County name before they could search....Of course, I do not know the County or anything else for that matter.
