On one report their children are listed as Adelbert, Edith and Lillie - on the next report Willis, Charles, Edith and Lillie - Edith and Lillie and Adelbert born in Iowa - Charles and Willis born in Delarware - Was your John born in Scotland? I know Edith, my great grandmother was born in 1865 - She died in 1893 so not much is known about her family as she died in childbirth of my grandfather.

But i thought I'd share nonetheless. My G-G-G-Grandfather was John (somtimes referred to as Henry) Lawrence and his wife was Martha (somtimes referred to as Mary) Adams. Based on ages listed on their marriage license in Clermont County, Ohio in 1871, John was born about 1827 and Martha about 1845. They had a son named Henry P. Lawrence born in 1874 in Clermont County, Ohio. That's all I have on these ancestors of mine. I know its not likely the same pair you are looking for. But you never know.
