From: November 8, 1951 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Services Held November 1 For Mrs. Waller Mrs. Minnie Allen Waller, 77, of Dodson, died Thursday, November 1, following a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday in New Hope Methodist Church, Rev. W. V. Neal and Rev. P. J. Miller officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery under direction of Southern funeral Home in Winnfield. Mrs. Waller was born March 23, 1876 in Winn Parish, and made her home in the parish all her life. She is survived by her husband, R. E. Waller, Dodson; one son, Charlie, also of Dodson; six daughters, Mrs. Ocie Warner, Mrs. Fred Roark, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Myrtle Coffee, Bakersfield, Calif., Miss Clara Waller, Dodson, Mrs. Melba Hughen, Pollock, Mrs. Bessie Broomfield, Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Jordan, Dry Prong, and Mrs. Myrtle Walker, Winnfield, route four; and three brothers, Archie Allen, Winnfield, route four, Will Allen, Jonesville, and Clayton Allen, Algiers, La.; 33 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
