From: March 30, 1950 Winn Parish Enterprise Final Rites For Mrs. Emily Scott Held Here Sunday Funeral services were held for Mrs. Emily Scott, 32, Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott died in a Shreveport hospital last Friday after a long illness. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Hodge of Route 3, Winnfield. The Rev. H. J. Mott directed funeral services and burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, Robert L. Scott of Barksdale Air Force Base, a son, Robert Edward Scott of Winnfield, two brothers, Joseph S. Hodge of Coushatta, and Bartow Hodge of Baton Rouge.
