Barber of Laurel Heights were held at the Assembly of God Church on Monday, July 30, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. C. M. Robinson, Rev. Elmore, Rev. McNeill, of Jonesboro and Rev. Miller in charge. Burial was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in the Bethel Cemetery. Barber was born November 13, 1892 in Jonesboro. He was a member of the Church of God. Surviving him are his wife, Lula Barber of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Alla Black of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Bettie Teekle of Olla; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were J. C.
