Embree, former resident of Winnfield, who died in Atlanta, Texas, Feb. 10, following a heart attack, were held in Atlanta Sunday at the First Christian Church, with burial in the Pine Crest Cemetery. Attending the funeral from Winnfield were relatives of Mrs. Embree, as follows: C. B. Cole, Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Cole and baby, Richard, Mrs. C. R. Wood, Misses Janie and Ruth Wood, Miss Eva Cole, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Turner, and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Turner. Mr. Embree, who was born Feb. 14, 1875, would have been 75 years of age if he had lived to his birthday. He and his family had resided in Winnfield for years but had returned to Atlanta, Texas eight or ten years ago.
