From: December 6, 1951 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. Elliott of Gaars Mill Buried Friday Mrs. Lettie Elliott, 55, of Gaars Mill Community, was buried last Friday at 2:30 p.m. following her death Thursday in a Winnfield hospital of a heart attack. Funeral services were conducted in the New Hope Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Roy Grant, assisted by Rev. I. A. Patton and Rev. L. G. Shaw. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Elliott was born near Sikes, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Al C. Kelly. She had lived in the parish all her life. Survivors are her husband, Alfred L. Elliott of Gaars Mill; two sons, Kelly of Jonesboro and Keith of the U. S. Navy; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Lebeau of New Orleans; and two brothers, Clomer Kelly of Ruston and Buford Kelly of Bossier City. One daughter, Cortez, preceded her in death.
