Ballio, 63, of Dodson, died in a Jonesboro hospital at 6:30 a.m. Monday, July 21, 1952 after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Atlanta Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Mrs. B. L. Upton, pastor of the Dodson Assembly of God Church, and interment was in the Atlanta Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. A native of Colfax, Mr. Ballio was born Jan. 13, 1889. He was a member of the Cypress Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Delia Engles, and two brothers, Lewis and J. N. Ballio, all of Dodson, and three nieces and three nephews.
