From: October 16, 1952 Winn Parish Enterprise Last Rites For Riffie Harrell In Ruston Oct. 4 Last rites for Riffie Harrell, 53, of Simsboro, former Winnfield resident who died Friday, October 3, 1952, in a Ruston hospital following a long illness, were held at Ruston Saturday, with burial in the Simsboro Cemetery. Mr. Harrell was the son of the late Eli Harrell of Winnfield and a stepson of Mrs. Emma Harrell of Winnfield. He was an employee of the Railway Express for many years in Winnfield and also in Simsboro until his retirement about a year ago because of failing health. Mr. Harrell was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vado Jones Harrell, two sisters, Mrs. Lizzi Lee Penny of Krotz Springs and Mrs. Nelda Flennigan of Monroe, six brothers, Paul of New Orleans, Eli, Hovey, Pat, Jimmie, and Marvin of Winnfield, and his stepmother, Mrs. Emma Harrell of Winnfield. --------------A1C44779B0C77783B857F855--
