Fox Dies Suddenly Sunday, Jan. 24 Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. January 25, 1953, in the Zion Hill Baptist Church for John Thomas Fox, who died about 8 o'clock Sunday morning, January 24, with a heart attack. The deceased had arisen earlier and drank his usual morning cup of coffee. He returned to bed to rest awhile, and died shortly after. He was a retired farmer and was making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Wilma Sanders, near Tannehill. He was born March 7, 1880 in Winn Parish, and was 72 years old. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Rev. R. H. Hendricks and Rev. Joe Massey, pastor of the Zion Hill Baptist Church, officiated at the funeral rites with interment in the Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Sanders and Mrs. Oleta Roberts of Winnfield and Mrs. J. J. Walker of Texas City, Texas; one son, Farrell Fox of Dry Prong; and six brothers, B. and D. B. Fox, Shreveport, R. L. and C. W. Fox, Winnfield, Rt. 3, and N. J. Fox of West Monroe. He has 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren surviving. Pallbearers were Denver Fox, Jesse Brewer, Hubert and Houston Boyett, Lowery Reeves, and Lee Bolton. --------------A0CC0BCC1E4003860184E415--
