Mrs. Francis Matthews Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Ophelia Matthews, 99, of Bossier City was held Tuesday at 1 P.M. in the Sardis Baptist Church near Winnfield with the Rev’s. Louis Williams and Danny Keys officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mrs. Matthews died Sunday in the Bossier Health Care Center in Bosier City after a long illness. Mrs. Matthews lived in Olla with her daughter for several years. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and was a native of Winn Parish. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Lillie Vickers of Olla and Mrs. Olivia Doremire of Bossier City, 19 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
