Greetings: When I got to our new home this morning at 8:50, Mr. Hardy Beaubouef and Sheriff's Jordan's inmate crew had the major problem we faced tended to. The big wall that stood between the two rooms was removed and piled up outside. No longer a problem. Chris, if you will keep a list as we go of those who need appreciation sent their way, I would appreciate it. Please add Mayor Deano Thornton to the list as he assured me the city would haul off our mess that we are leaving on the street. Normally, arrangements for commercial type stuff have to be made and paid for. I think we will get by without any cost. Also, he and the City of Winnfield are one of our advertisers in the quarterly. It is sure nice when local politicians lend their support. So, if we are keeping a list, we need to thank Sheriff Jordan, Mayor Thornton, and Edward "Cabbage" Hamilton and the Winn Parish Police Jury, Dorman Guilliams, and those donating. Also, those donating their time such as Hardy Beaubouef. Annette and Roy came by to look things over and both were impressed. Roy will see if the desk he wants to donate will fit. Believe me, this place is going to be nice and we will all be proud of it. My only scare is that one day it won't be big enough. Thanks to Jimmy Cooley for the nice donation received in this morning's mail. I had hoped that we would be in business by the April meeting but we might not be quite there yet. Maybe with a little luck...... Gregg -- Greggory E. Davies 120 Ted Price Lane Winnfield, LA 71483 [email protected]
