Received some great news today. First of all, received a nice pledge from Tommy Joe Willis today, so thanks to Tommy Joe. Secondly, Denton Shell and I met today and we have agreed that the old historical society which merged with the genealogical association could afford to donate $500 to the project. This will go a long way toward knocking a hole in whatever debt we run up on this project. Coupled with the other donations we have received, we are near $700. Also, it will allow us to use funds already set aside to go toward the purchase of other stuff we will need, at some later date (microfilm reader/printer, etc.) Thanks to everyone.
