"Bill" Maloy, 30, local railroad employee, died of a heart attack last Friday morning near the home of his brother, Sewell Maloy, at Gaars Mill. He and his brother had planned to go fishing Friday, but William complained of feeling ill and started to Winnfield to see a doctor. On the way to Winnfield he became very ill and stopped his car. He died before help could be given. Funeral services were at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church eight miles east of Winnfield, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under direction of the Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield. Rev. A. C. Cockerham officiated at the funeral, assisted by Rev. E. B. Barton and Rev. C. M. Robinson. Deceased was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Georgetown Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Ray, 10, and Herbert Lynn, 2; his mother, Mrs. J. R. Maloy of Winnfield; one brother, Sewell of Dodson, Route One; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Conn of Winnfield, Route Two; Mrs. Odell Allen, of Tullos, and Mrs. Julia Smith of Winnfield, Route Two. --------------8F715EB38BCA5105D8836C7A--
