From: September 13, 1951 Winn Parish Enterprise Ex-Winnfield Negro Dies at Angola Prison Lee Roy Jones, 38 year old former Winnfield Negro, and for the past nine years an inmate in Angola State Penitentiary, died from tuberculosis, it was reported here last week. Jones died at Angola on September 5, and his body was brought here for burial by the Ben Johnson Funeral Home. Reason for his being in the State Penitentiary was not known. He is survived by his mother, Mary Johnson of Winnfield, four brothers, and four sisters. He was unmarried. Funeral services were held at Clarence. --------------87895B2FEE6B9BDAED14CBCB--
