From: December 26, 1957 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Final Rites Held Here Saturday For Mrs. Ella Heflin Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Heflin of Winnfield were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Luther Booth, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Heflin, 80, died Friday in a local hospital following a brief illness. She was born January 28, 1877 in Texas and had lived in Winn Parish most of her life. She was the widow of former Winn Parish Sheriff William T. Heflin. Mrs. Heflin was a member of the Methodist Church and was active in church and civic affairs. Survivors are two sons, Dr. C. M. Heflin and Herman L. Heflin, both of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Miss Eva Heflin of Winnfield; four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. L. D. Harvey of Alexandria. Pallbearers were Robert Heard, Bryant Sholars, D. E.
