Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. Lessie Hemphill Lessie Hemphill, 86, of Tullos, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 1990, in Humana Hospital in Winnfield. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Cross Roads Baptist Church near Tullos with Rev. Greg Nichols, officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnifield. Survivors include two sons, Grady Mercer of Monroe and Clyde Mercer of Tullos; one daughter, Bea Bynog of Minden; one brother, Clayton Holmes of Tullos; one sister, Erie Blake of Olla; 14 grandchildren and several great-gradnchildren.
