Mixon, 82, Winn Native Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, March 28, at 3 o'clock for B. H. "Uncle Ben" Mixon, who died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Birdie Linton, of Hattiesburg, Miss. Funeral services were in the Siloam Baptist Church in Gansville, with burial in the Gansville Cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. Joe Quarles of Jonesboro and Rev. C. M. Robinson of Winnfield. Burial was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Mixon was 82 years old and was born in Winn Parish. He had made his home for the past several years with Mrs. Linton in Hattiesburg. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Linton and Mrs. Inez Shively of Gansville; one son, Sherman Mixon, of Florien, La.; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. --------------18BD987BC74DB84BF2AFFF4A--
