From: March 13, 1930 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. Frank Goetzman Buried Here Tuesday Monday, March 10th, Mrs. Frank Goetzman of Joyce, passed away after several years of suffering. Grandma Goetzman, as she was known by those who knew her, had been a resident of Joyce since the establishment of the camp some 14 years ago. She was highly esteemed and loved by all. Mrs. Goetzman was 72 years of age. She leaves all her family of ten children and some thirty grandchildren. Besides the husband, Frank Goetzman, the following children survive: six daughters and four sons: Mrs. Edward Stevens, Picayune, Miss.; Miss Mary Goetzman, Joyce; Mrs. Henrietta Bailey, Port Arthur, Texas; Mr. Willie Goetzman, Pitkin, La.; Mrs. Guy Pangburn, Joyce; Mrs. J. E. Mayo, California; Frankie Goetzman, Diboll, Texas; Mrs. Bryan Sheffield, Picayune, Miss.; Eugene Goetzman, Picayune, Miss.; Herman Goetzman, Picayune, Miss. All of these were present, except Mrs. Mayo of California. Funeral services were held at Winnfield by the Rev. Roberts, of Joyce, assisted by the Rev. Wier of Winnfield. Owing to the fact that she was an invalid for the past ten years, her death came as a shock to relatives and friends. Mrs. Goetzman always had a smile for everyone, although a shut-in, was always in good spirits and never complained. --------------89227ADBEF8B84897AAB22C5 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="gedavies.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Greggory E.
