Luther Held Here Wednesday Funeral services for Warren Tracy Luther, 61, of Heflin, La., and native of Winn Parish, who died suddenly April 10 while on a visit with his daughter in Houston, Texas, were held at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church Wednesday at 3 p.m., with the pastor, Rev. H. J. Mott, officiating, assisted by the pastor of the Baskin Church of which Mr. Luther was a member. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Mr. Luther, who had resided in Winnfield a number of years where he was employed as saw filer by the Mansfield Hardwood Lumber Company, had moved with his family to Heflin about two years ago. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Luther of Montgomery and has spent most of his life in Winn Parish. While a resident of Winnfield he was active in church work and served as a member of the board of deacons of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. He was a Royal Arch Mason and a member of the Woodmen of the World. Acting as pallbearers were deacons of Laurel Heights Baptist Church. Final grave rites were in charge of the Masonic Order. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Teddlie Luther; two sons, Lindy of Heflin and Vernon in the U. S. Army at Ft.
