Adams of Sikes, died at his home Saturday morning, January 12, following a stroke of paralysis. For fourteen months Mr. Adams was confined to his bed. Mr. Adams, had been married for about twenty-eight years. His wife was Miss Lula Crain, daughter of Mr. A. Crain. Mr. Adams was 54 years old. He is survived by his wife and nine children: Troy, Marshall, Willie, Woodrow, and LeRoy Adams and Mrs. Earle DeLoach and Missess Carlee, Maurin, and LeVenia Adams, all of Sikes. He also leaves four brothers and five sisters: Dr. U. S. Adams of Cherokee, Ala; Ira Adams, Leighton, Ala.; the Rev. B. C. Adams, Livingston, Texas; Mrs. Reuben Parker, Sikes; Rosa Smith, Quitman; Mrs. Emma Griffin, Farmerville; and Mrs. Ethel Griffin, Truxno, La. Funeral services were held at Harmony Grove Church and his body was laid to rest in the Harmony Grove Cemetery. The Rev. J. D. Mize conducted the services. --------------69667663BF8843A71E6EAF54--
