From: March 9, 1950 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. Floyd Mercer Dies Suddenly In An Olla Clinic Mrs. Floyd Mercer of Tullos, La., died Sunday, March 5, at 8 a.m. at the Olla Clinic after a long illness. She was 38 years old and the former Ruth Hemphill. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at the Crossroads Baptist Church at 2:30 Monday afternoon. The Rev. Miles of Olla officiated. Interment followed in Guin Cemetery. Pallbearers were all first cousins. Other than her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. W. L. Hemphill; one brother, Lee Hemphill, both of Tullos; four sisters, Mrs. O. J. Broussard, Mrs. C. F. Sowers, Mrs. C. M. Bridges, all of Baton Rouge, Mrs. R. J.
