Gibbs, 74, former police jury member from Ward 10, died at his home near Goldonna Nov. 6. Funeral services were conducted at Antioch Church at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. C. M. Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. A native and life long resident of Ward Ten, Mr. Gibbs was one of the leading citizens of Winn Parish and was active in the affairs of his community until his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Gibbs; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Moffett, Dodson; Mrs. Foye Speaks, Mrs. Faye Temple, Mrs. Maybelle Roberts, Miss Ardelle Gibbs, all of Goldonna; one son, Roland Gibbs; two sisters, Mrs. Tennie Morgan and Mrs. Maude Walker of Goldonna. --------------DBEB351F5F497C0AF6C0B3DB--
