Donohue, one of the oldest and most reliable section foremen on the L. R. & N. Railroad, died at her home in Winnfield, January 14, at 3:15 in the morning. Mrs. Donohue had been a long patient sufferer, the pains in the last moments of life were very intense, yet she bore them with a resignation that only those looking forward to the everlasting sweet peace at HOME could bear. Mrs. Donohue was born at Fayette, Miss., November 2, 1884, was united to Daniel P. Donohue at the place of her birth November 19, 1899. Mr. and Mrs. Donohue united with the Baptist Church at Winnfield, and have been faithful workers in the Master's cause since casting their Faith in their Lord. Besides the sorrowing husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Caldwell of Bossier City and little Kathleen, aged ten years, and one son, Lawrence, of Winnfield. All that medical skill was done to avert the grim reaper for a time without avail, yet "Twas beautiful to have witnessed the faith in the Master when she knew that the span of life was near, said, Just a few more days and I'll be free." Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church Monday afternoon, the Rev. A. H. Cullen, officiating. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. --------------E62FC1896DB714B47020E920--
