From: March 31, 1955 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Funeral Services For James Cooper March 30 Funeral services for James Cooper, 84, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Guynes, in Dry Prong March 29, were held at the Friendship Church at 3 p.m. March 30, with the pastor, Rev. Glenn Marr, officiating. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery under the Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Cooper was well known in Winnfield where he resided for a number of years, making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Lessie Willie Durham. He was the grandfather of Welby Willis of Winnfield. He is survived by one son, Marshall Cooper of Dry Prong; three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Durham, Winnfield; Mrs. Frances Wallette, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Rhoda Guynes, Dry Prong; 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Della Broughton, Dallas, Texas. --------------E0BF00BE494412ADAA27FB9A--
