Sanders, 89, of Smackover, Ark., native of Winn Parish, who died Sept. 12, will be held in Smackover Friday morning and last rites will be conducted at the Winnfield Cemetery Friday at about 4 p.m., with Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mr. Sanders moved to Smackover with his family from Winnfield about 25 or 30 years ago. His wife, the former Miss Emma Boyett, preceded him in death. He is a brother in law to Mrs. Minerva Sanders, Mrs. Martha Sanders, and Mr. Horace Boyett, all of Winnfield.
