From: May 7, 1970 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Julius Sholars, Former Resident, Dies Fri., May 1 Julius Sholars, age 55, of Rock Beach, Fla., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Sholars of Winnfield, died Friday, May 1, following a sudden heart attack. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in Welch Funeral Home, Baton Rouge. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Strange of New Orleans and Mrs. Rodney Krug of Coral Gables, Fla.; one son, Alan Sholars, Baton Rouge.
