Bratton, 82, of Columbia, died in a Caldwell Parish hospital August 31, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the Bellvue Baptist Church near Columbia with the Rev. Tom Parker officiating. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery near Sikes under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. Bratton was a retired farmer. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. R. E. Burks, West Monroe, Mrs. L. S. Thompson, Monroe, Mrs. Henry Tolbert, Columbia, and Mrs. Rosa Lasyone, Dodson; four sons, E. B. Bratton, Winnfield, W. M. of Port Arthur, Texas, J. S. of Monroe, and Rev. A. L Bratton of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. L. R.
