Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. From: March 29, 1951 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. W. S. Mayes Of Sikes Buried At Hebron Sunday Mrs. W. S. Mayes, 61, died at her home in Sikes early Saturday, March 24, after several months of illness. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hebron Church, with the Rev. C. M. Robinson of Winnfield and Rev. Troy Tisdale of West Monroe, officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. A life-long resident of Sikes, Mrs. Mayes was before her marriage, Miss Dora Hatten. She was a member of the Hart Assembly of God Church. Surviving are her husband, W. S. Mayes; the following sons: H. M. Mayes, Sikes, F. L. Mayes, Grayson, J. A. Mayes, Texas City, O. H. Mayes, Beaumont, Texas, and the following daughters, Mrs. D. Q. Stearns, Orange, Texas, Mrs. Roy Cash, West Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Bill Hatten, Sikes; __ grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Quinton Mayes, Earl Hatten, Harold Brown, Curtis Hatten, Monroe Hatten, and Crockett Erskins, Jr. --------------F1DA9D51A7547BEA740C822B--
