Rice Funeral Services Tuesday, Oct. 23 Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Mae Rice, 46, of Route 1, Winnfield, sere held at Sardis Baptist Church at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. W. C. Bounds in charge, assisted by Rev. H. J. Mott, Rev. W. L. Holcomb, and Rev. E. B. Barton. Interment was in the Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Rice, a native of Winn Parish, died Sunday, October 21, at her home. She had lived in Winn Parish all her life and was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church. Surviving her are her husband, Voyd Rice; two sons, Rex and James; four daughters, Mrs. Vaudine Smith, Mrs. Doris McIlwain, Gloria Dale and Betty Rice, all of Winnfield; four brothers, Bob Barton of Mangham, Lawson Barton of Atlanta, Arthur Barton of Winnfield, and Claude Barton of Liddieville; three sisters, Mrs. Bernard Booth of Minden, Mrs. B. Newsom of Winnfield, and Miss Idell Barton of Atlanta; and a number of grandchildren. --------------42877E832E665C06B390EAC7--
