Heard Dead At twelve fifteen o'clock this morning the Angel Death again visited our city and this time knocked at the door of our fellowtownsman, Mr. John R. Heard, and took from him his beloved wife Loraine Heard. Funeral services were held at the family residence this afternoon and interment took place immediately after wards in the Ruston Cemetery. Quite a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends attended these services. Mrs. Heard was born June 7, 1848, being nearly sixty-two years of age. The family has resided in Ruston for several years, moving here from their country place near Dubach, and has many relatives and dear friends who join the Leader in extending deepest sympathy to them. Mrs. Heard was a beautiful character, the motherly kind of lady and the kind that made everyone she came in contact with love and revere her and she, therefore has hundreds of friends that will mourn her death.-The Ruston Leader, 30th. The profound sympathy of our whole people goes out to her two sons, W. E. and J. R. Heard, who are among our most valued citizens, in this hour of overwhelming bereavement. --------------4DADCC0E813C3AB5A3E238DD--
