The listing for this cemetery on the web has a special grouping of marker inscriptions for Civil War Vets and then includes these men in their alphabetical list too. The birth dates differ in the two places. The men are: "Alford" DEAN 20 MAR 1842 or 2 MAR 1842; Died 13 DEC 1862. (Note-His name should read "Alfred".) Thomas DEAN 17 APR 1838 or 7 APR 1838; Died 13 DEC 1862. Both these men are thought to be brothers of my great grandmother, Martha J. C. Dean Carleton, wife of William F. Carleton.
