Hi: I'm sending out renewal notices this week to those that have not renewed. However, we expect to print and mail the April issue sometime the last of this month and you may not get your notice in time (if you live in Alaska) to renew, so please check your last issue to see if you have renewed. (We have 111 regular members that have not renewed!!!) In order to be able to mail bulk rate we must have a certain number of books in the mail out, otherwise it cost too much to mail them first class (and book rate per piece is only a nickle difference!) We are going to have to start mailing all issues during a regular mail out instead of when the check reaches us because of the cost. So the next mail out will be in August. This is what a lot of societies have been doing for years. If you are not sure, email me and I'll look your membership up. (I'm the one that handles all membership records.) If you are a new member and it is between mail outs, I'll send a "received" notice. AND... I have received several "new" members dues during the past month. I just have not gotten to the meeting rooms where the back issues are stored to be able to mail you the books, but will try to get that taken care of during our meeting on Saturday, so the back issues will go out next week for those new members we recieved and/or back issues ordered.
