Susie, I am trying to link my W.HENRY WHITE to these Whites in the Sikes area. My gg grandmother was ANNIE LUCAS who married a W.Henry White and they had a son named JOSEPH ALEXANDER WHITE. Joseph was married first to a OCTAVIA GORHAM and here's the not so easy part. After producing a good size family that my grandfather DAVID WHITE was born into, Joseph's wife died bearing twins. My grandfather David White was older at that time and married a lovely girl named EVERLEE TARVER. Joseph began to court my grandmother's (his daughter in law, Everlee Tarver White) SISTER named ARMINDA TARVER GILMORE (whose husband had died) and they married producing another large family. Confusing? How many years did it take me to understand all of this? Lots!! Anyway I have been researching the Whites in the Sikes area because I believe they are all related. If you have any information on your Whites and any kin that came to visit them or in your records as W.H. or Henry White or other related names! please let me know. Thanks. Diane Hanson
