White, born approximately 1815. I know he was born in Louisiana, but not sure where. His mother was Elizabeth White but I don't have father's name. Benjamin L. White went from LA to Sabine County, TX with his mother about 1823; was in Cherokee County, TX by 1845 and Houston/Trinity Counties, TX by 1850. I suspect Benjamin L. White could have been from St. Helena Parish because of the Richardsons, Womacks and Watson names. A lot of those same families ended up in Trinity County, TX. Amy McCroskie Denver, CO
