    3. Hi, List. I'm still looking for any information about the death/burial of my g-g-grandfather, died 1859 in West B. R. Parish. Even though he owned some property and made mortgages, married in the Catholic Church (Marie Aurore BABIN m. 1852) and had his 3 daughters baptized in the Church, I find no record of a death, or any burial information. Now, he was either a LOT older than Marie BABIN, and died timely, or he...fell in the river? He made a mortgage to buy a large piece of land in December, 1858 and was dead by February, 1859 (Public sale notice in the newspaper) and I have his Will and Succession documents, but no clue as to how/where he died or where he could be buried. Any ideas? I'm really at a loss.
