I suspect that we are cousins - both my gg grandparents were first cousins and descendants of the Cajun pioneer couple Ambroise Bourg and Marie Modeste Moulaision. Their son Joseph married Marie LeBlanc and this couple had several daughters but the sons (with the Bourg name) were Joseph b. 1803, Charles Joseph b. 1807 who married his first cousin Adelaide Thibodeaux, Pierre Ambroise, who married Advelina Allain and Magloire (not sure if male or female) who married Appoline Trahan. My gg grandmother was their daughter and her name was Josephine. She married Adelaide Thibodeaux' brother Arcene. As you can see, my family tree doesn't fork! Have you tried St. John The Baptist Cemetery in West Baton Rouge? That is the most likely place. Where do you live?
