I would like to obtain information on an Ivy Bankston who died in West Baton Rouge on 25 May 1994. Is there anyone on this last who lives in or near West Baton Rouge who could advse me about how to obtain an obituary and/or death cedrtificate? We believe that Ivy may have been a close relative of my wife and would like to determine if that is so and if there are any surviving children or grandchildren. Thanks, John Maylone

Hi List, I am looking for the burial place of my great-grandfather SIMEON BOURG. He lived in Port Allen, LA for many years and ran for sherriff of Port Allen in 1912. He died CA 1915 but I cannot find his death notice in any of the sources that I found. If anyone has a clue as to how to find his obit/cemetery I would be grateful. He was born in Labadieville, LA.
