Thanks very much for the obituary. It answers some questions and raises some others. Hammond is in Tangipahoa Parish, which is where my wife's grandparents are from. My wife's grandfather was born in 1907 and shows on the 1910 census. Ivy was born in 1910 and didn't show on the census, which is understandable. The obit indicates a third brother but doesn't name him. This could still be our Ivy. The death certificate should have the middle name which would confirm the relationship. Would that be available from the Parish? I'll see if I can find a hone listing for John M. Bankston; he should be able to answer a lot of questions for us.
